CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code
Completion of Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, following NCTE 2002 Norms OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code
A candidate must fulfill one of the following eligibility criteria:
Possession of a Bachelor's Degree and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).
Attainment of at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation, and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
Graduation with at least 50% marks and successful completion or current enrollment in the 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education).
Additionally:
Any candidate who has completed a B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible for TET/CTET.
Pursuing any teacher education course (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as applicable) mentioned in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 qualifies a person to appear in the TET/CTET, in accordance with the existing TET guidelines circulated in the NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011.
Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, and successful completion or current enrollment in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
Process to Fill CTET January 2024 Exam Online Form
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the release of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Paper I to V & VI to VIII in 2023. Candidates can submit their applications online from 03/11/2023 to 01/12/2023.
Note: This year, exam centers are limited in each city, and candidates can view this information live while filling out the form. Applicants seeking their nearest exam center/city are encouraged to apply promptly as slots for the exam city are limited.
Before applying for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in the Central TET CTET Exam, candidates are advised to thoroughly read the notification for the latest online form in 2024. Ensure to check and collect all required documents, including eligibility, ID proof, address details, and basic details.
Prepare the scan documents related to the recruitment form, such as photos, signatures, and ID proofs, in advance. Before submitting the application form, carefully review the preview and all columns. If an application fee is required, it must be submitted for the form to be considered complete.
