CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2024

NTA revised the CSIR NET eligibility criteria under the age limit extending it from 28 to 30

years. NTA provides the CSIR UGC NET 2024 eligibility criteria in the official brochure.

The eligibility criteria are based on the age limit and academic qualification. For the

position of Assistant Professor / Lecturer and JRF, candidates can check the CSIR UGC

NET eligibility criteria for 2024 are below.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates can check their educational qualifications to apply for the CSIR UGC NET

2024:

Candidates with M.Sc. degree or Integrated B.S.-M.S./ B.S./ B.E./ B.Tech./

B.Pharm./ MBBS for General and OBC categories with a minimum aggregate of

55% (reserved category candidates will get 5% relaxation).

 

Candidates with a B.Sc. (Hons) or equivalent degree or candidates enrolled in the

integrated M.S.- Ph. D program for the general category with a minimum

the aggregate of 55 percent marks (5 percent relaxation for reserved category

candidates).

Applicants with a Master's degree before 19 September 1993 with at least 50 per

cent marks can apply only for a lectureship post.

Applicants who are enrolled for an M.Sc. Under the Result Awaited (RA) group, the

program and its graduation which apply.
